Product Description
The Thermal Dryer is a high-efficiency drying system designed for plastic film and PET bottle washing lines. Positioned after the dewatering machine, it uses a powerful hot air drying process to reduce residual moisture levels to below 3%.
Equipped with a transport blower, heating unit, and cyclone separator, the thermal dryer ensures maximum dehydration efficiency, making it an essential final step before extrusion and pelletizing.
Its continuous drying capability, durable stainless steel structure, and consistent performance make it the ideal choice for large-scale recycling plants seeking reliable moisture reduction.
Hot Air Drying – Plastic materials are transported by a blower and mixed with hot air inside a long stainless-steel pipeline.
Moisture Removal – As the material spins and mixes inside the pipeline, water is effectively evaporated.
Cyclone Separation – The system integrates with a cyclone separator where cool air is introduced, further reducing moisture and removing dust and fines.
Final Product – Clean and dry plastic flakes with less than 3% moisture, ready for extrusion and pelletizing.
Depending on production needs, multiple thermal dryers can be installed in sequence to achieve even lower moisture levels.

Q1: What materials can the thermal dryer handle?
A1: It is suitable for washed plastic films (PE, PP) and PET flakes, as well as similar light plastic materials.
Q2: How much moisture can it reduce?
A2: It lowers moisture levels to below 3%, ensuring stable feeding to extruders.
Q3: Is a single unit enough for my line?
A3: For most lines, one thermal dryer is sufficient, but large plants may require two or three units in sequence.
Q4: How does it compare with centrifugal dryers?
A4: Unlike centrifugal dryers, the thermal dryer provides more consistent results and works well for lightweight films.
Q5: What material is used in construction?
A5: The pipes are made of Type 304 stainless steel, ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and hygiene.
