The Thermal Dryer is a high-efficiency drying system designed for plastic film and PET bottle washing lines. Positioned after the dewatering machine, it uses a powerful hot air drying process to reduce residual moisture levels to below 3%.

Working Principle

  1. Hot Air Drying – Plastic materials are transported by a blower and mixed with hot air inside a long stainless-steel pipeline.

  2. Moisture Removal – As the material spins and mixes inside the pipeline, water is effectively evaporated.

  3. Cyclone Separation – The system integrates with a cyclone separator where cool air is introduced, further reducing moisture and removing dust and fines.

  4. Final Product – Clean and dry plastic flakes with less than 3% moisture, ready for extrusion and pelletizing.

Depending on production needs, multiple thermal dryers can be installed in sequence to achieve even lower moisture levels.
