Product Description
The EPS Foam Cold Press Compactor is a professional recycling machine designed to compress and densify waste EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) foam materials. Through a combination of shredding, screw conveying, and hydraulic compression, loose EPS foam can be processed into compact dense blocks, significantly reducing storage and transportation costs.
The machine first crushes EPS foam using a dual-shaft shredding system, then transfers the material into a compression chamber via a high-speed screw conveyor. After that, the foam is cold-pressed into dense blocks with a compression ratio of up to 50:1, making it easy to store, transport, and reuse.
The recycled EPS blocks can be reused as raw materials for producing plastic frames, building decoration materials, and other recycled plastic products.
This equipment is widely used in EPS recycling plants, seafood processing factories, electronics factories, supermarkets, packaging companies, and waste recycling centers.
Cold pressing technology compresses EPS foam up to 50:1 density ratio
Greatly reduces transportation and storage space
Dual-shaft crushing blades break EPS foam into small pieces
Ensures continuous feeding and efficient processing
High-speed rotating screw transports crushed material
Gradually compresses foam before final hydraulic pressing
Hydraulic blade cuts compressed material into blocks
Convenient for packaging, stacking, and transportation
Suitable for processing:
EPS foam waste
XPS foam boards
EPP foam materials
Food trays and foam packaging materials
EPS materials from production waste and discarded products can be fully recycled and reused.
EPS foam contains approximately 98% air and only 2% polystyrene, making densification highly effective for material recovery.
Even though EPS is derived from petroleum, it represents less than 0.1% of crude oil consumption, and recycling significantly improves resource efficiency.
EPS products are widely used in insulation boards and help save energy throughout their lifecycle.
