Product Description
The Meltblown Fabric Dedicated Single Screw Extruder is a core component of medical mask production lines, specifically engineered for processing polypropylene (PP) resin into ultra-fine fiber meltblown material.
This system is designed with advanced plasticizing technology to ensure stable melt pressure, uniform temperature distribution, and consistent polymer flow—critical factors in producing high-quality filtration-grade nonwoven fabric used in surgical masks, N95 masks, and air filtration systems.
Manufactured by Zhangjiagang Chenxing Machinery Co., Ltd., this extruder integrates decades of experience in plastic machinery engineering and is optimized for continuous, high-speed industrial production.
Special screw design ensures complete melting of PP resin with minimal degradation, improving fiber uniformity.
Equipped with precision temperature control zones and frequency-controlled drive system for consistent extrusion performance.
Multi-zone heating system ensures ±1°C temperature stability for sensitive meltblown processing.
Nitride-treated alloy steel structure ensures long service life under continuous operation.
Optimized motor and transmission system reduce energy consumption while maintaining high output.
Can be integrated with die head, air system, and winding units for complete mask production solutions.
Screw Diameter: 55–90 mm (customizable)
L/D Ratio: 28:1 – 30:1
Output Capacity: 80–250 kg/h
Heating Zones: 4–6 zones
Temperature Control Accuracy: ±1°C
Drive Motor: High torque AC motor with inverter control
Material: PP (Polypropylene) for meltblown fabric
Cooling System: Air & water-assisted cooling (optional)
⚠️ Final configuration can be customized based on customer production capacity requirements.
The extruder melts PP resin through a controlled heating barrel and screw system. The molten polymer is then precisely conveyed to the meltblown die head, where high-speed hot air stretches the polymer into ultra-fine fibers.
These fibers are then randomly deposited onto a conveyor system to form a uniform nonwoven fabric web, which is widely used in filtration layers of medical masks.
