Product Description
PVC pipe looks simple — a round section, a wall thickness, a socket. In production it is anything but: the material is heat-sensitive, the powder must be plasticized evenly, the melt must be shaped before it sags, and the finished pipe must hold pressure for fifty years. Five decisions define whether a pipe line pays back or becomes a maintenance burden.
PVC, UPVC and CPVC all degrade when they overheat or dwell too long. A screw that cannot plasticize gently at controlled temperature produces burn marks, weak welds at the socket and rejected pipe.
Response: the line is built on a conical double screw extruder (SJSZ51/105 through SJSZ92/188) with air-cooled ceramic heater bands, a high quality gearbox and distribution box, better gearbox cooling and an advanced vacuum system. According to different formulations, Chenxing supplies different screw designs to ensure good plasticizing effect and high capacity.
A processor rarely makes a single diameter. Without quick die changes, every new size means downtime and scrap.
Response: the extrusion die head uses a bracket structure with each material flow channel placed evenly, heat treated, mirror polished and chromed so the material flows smoothly. The die head is modular design, easy for changing pipe sizes, assembling, dismantling and maintenance — and it can produce single layer or multi-layer pipe.
Wall thickness variation is where pipe profit disappears: extra grams per meter on every pipe, plus pressure-test failures.
Response: calibration and haul-off work together. The advanced vacuum system locks the outside diameter immediately after the die, while the haul-off unit pulls at a matched speed — and the whole train is available as a complete PVC pipe extrusion solution.
PVC pipes are socketed. If the cut end is not chamfered, the joint is difficult to insert and prone to leaking.
Response: the cutter is controlled by Siemens PLC with chamfering function, working together with the haul-off unit for precise cutting, with an aluminum clamping device, advanced hydraulic system and dust collection system. The customer can set the length of pipe they want to cut.
A scratch on the pipe surface is a visible defect that buyers reject — and it usually happens at the end of the line.
Response: the stacker uses a stainless steel pallet to prevent scratch of pipe surface, with the pipe falling into the collection area automatically. Length: 6000 mm.

The same extruder platform serves several pipe ranges, so a processor can start with a small diameter line and step up in capacity without changing technology.
Both conical twin screw extruders and parallel twin screw extruders can be applied to produce PVC pipe. With the latest technology, the machine lowers power consumption while ensuring capacity. Quality screw and barrel, air cooled ceramic heater, high quality gearbox and distribution box, better cooling of gearbox and an advanced vacuum system are standard.
The extrusion die head applies a bracket structure, with each material flow channel placed evenly. Each channel is heat treated, mirror polished and chromed to ensure material flow smoothly. The die head is modular design, easy for changing pipe sizes, assembling, dismantling and maintenance, and can produce single layer or multi-layer pipe.
Downstream of the die, the calibration and cooling sections set the final dimensions of the pipe while the advanced vacuum system keeps the roundness and wall thickness within tolerance. This is the stage that decides whether the pipe passes the pressure test.
The haul-off pulls the pipe at a speed matched to the extrusion rate, keeping wall thickness stable from the first meter to the last. For upstream material preparation, the corresponding stages are the mixing unit and powder suction machine that feed the extruder.
