The BW-IV series PVC/PE double-wall corrugated pipe extrusion line is a turnkey production system engineered by Chenxing Machinery for manufacturing large-diameter corrugated pipes used in municipal drainage, agricultural water supply, and sewer infrastructure projects. The line integrates a twin-screw extruder, vacuum forming module, air-cooled corrugated pipe mold system, and programmable logic controller (PLC) into a single automated workflow. For manufacturers already operating plastic pelletizing or recycling lines, adding a corrugated pipe extrusion line creates a vertically integrated production capability from raw material processing to finished pipe output.
Two models are available: BW-IV (200 mm - 400 mm) and BW-IV-A (300 mm - 600 mm), both capable of processing virgin PVC, HDPE, and qualified recycled compounds. PVC or HDPE granules are loaded into the extruder via automatic vacuum feeding. The single-screw or twin-screw barrel heats and plasticizes the material into a homogeneous melt at precisely controlled zone temperatures.
The melt enters the die head and is formed between the special aluminum alloy mold blocks moving on a closed-loop track. The double-wall structure — a smooth inner wall fused to a corrugated outer wall — is created in a single continuous operation.
The formed pipe passes through the air-cooled zone, where ambient-temperature airflow rapidly stabilizes the corrugated geometry. No water bath is needed for mold cooling, significantly simplifying facility requirements.
A synchronized haul-off unit pulls the pipe at constant speed, and an automatic cutting machine sections the pipe to preset lengths without stopping the line. Finished pipes are ready for stacking and shipment.
