The CX Series Lifting Dryer (Vertical Lifting Mixer-Dryer) from Chenxing Machinery is a high-efficiency vertical spiral-circulation mixing and drying system designed for the plastic processing industry. It handles raw material blending, color masterbatch mixing, new-and-recycled material combining, and powder additive incorporation — all in one machine.
How it works: Material is fed into the bottom hopper. A central vertical screw rotating at 300 r/min lifts material from the bottom to the top and flings it outward, creating a "bottom → top → periphery → bottom" circulation path. Combined with an optional heating jacket or hot-air system, the Lifting Dryer blends and dries uniformly in a single process.
The CX Series is available in five models — CX-500, CX-1000, CX-2000, CX-3000, and CX-5000 — covering batch capacities from 500 kg to 5000 kg.

Color consistency depends on both mechanical dispersion and time control. Cleaning is tool-free and fast. The operator opens the hinged quick-access door at the bottom cone, inserts a compressed-air gun, and blows residual material upward through the barrel. Typical complete changeover — from stopping one batch to starting the next with a different color or resin — takes under 5 minutes, significantly faster than disassembly-based cleaning required by many horizontal mixers.
Two options are offered. Option A — Heating Jacket: A double-wall barrel with thermal oil or electric heating elements conducts heat through the barrel wall into the material as it circulates. This is effective for long-cycle drying of hygroscopic materials like PA, PET, and PC, where moisture must be driven off gradually. Option B — Hot Air System: A forced hot-air blower connects to an inlet near the barrel base; heated air passes through the circulating material and exits via a top vent. Each access door on the CX Lifting Dryer is fitted with a mechanical limit switch wired in series with the main motor contactor coil. When any door opens, the limit-switch circuit breaks, the contactor drops out, and motor power is cut — typically within milliseconds.
