The working principle is simple and continuous. Material enters the main frame through the feeding skip. The rotating shafts generate an airstream inside the chamber that carries the material against the blades and the fixed knives, where it is sheared and torn. After size reduction the material is conveyed out through the reclaiming fan blower into a dust-collecting bagging station, so the process runs as one continuous loop.
